Barrier-free access to the Römer

Tour 1 – Exhibition of offices

Starting in front of the Römer city hall:
Turn left into Limpurgergasse
Turn right through the first gate into Römerhöfchen

This way in! Head straight ahead into the Römer and Schwanen Hall for the exhibition of the municipal departments.

Tour 2 – Römer premises / Programme points

Starting in front of the Römer city hall:
Turn right into Bethmannstraße,
Then left into the first courtyard, the so-called Durchfahrtshof

This way through! Inside the building: First door on the left leads to the Kapellchen for food and drinks, to the right into the Neo-Gothic Staircase.

Second floor:

In the foyer of the “Kaisersaal” (Emperor’s Hall) there are two golden lifts that will take you to the Römerberg foyer (entrance area) to other exhibition stands.

Note:
The “Limpurgsaal”, where action programmes also take place, can only be reached if accompanied by a helper. Please speak to one of the helpers, who can be recognised by their white T-shirt. You will always find helpers at the meeting point for tours of the Römer on the Römerberg and at the INFO-PUNKT in City Hall, “Kaisersaal” (Emperor’s Hall) foyer on the 2nd floor.
